Vasyl Humeniuk joined All Survivors Project in January 2025 as National Health and Humanitarian Advisor (Ukraine).
Since the onset of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine in 2022, Vasyl has worked with the Andreyev Family Foundation as a psychologist and case manager, providing support to war victims, in particular victims of sexual violence. He became a WHO trainer under the “Self-Help+” program, implementing scaled-up psychological interventions in Ukraine. Additionally, he was worked with the Prosecutor General’s Office of Ukraine as a freelance psychologist, working with people who were released from Russian captivity.
Prior to this, Vasyl worked as the Director of the Kyiv Regional Center for Social and Psychological Assistance. During this time, he established two shelters that offered assistance to women and children victims of domestic violence.
Vasyl began his career as a psychotherapist in 2017 at a private clinic in Kyiv following a two year internship in psychiatry at the National Medical University. His professional career began in 2008, when he enrolled in the Medical and Psychological Faculty of the National Medical University in Kyiv. In 2010, he co-founded the student psychological club “Anima”, which he led until the end of his studies. In 2014, he graduated from the university and received a doctor’s diploma in basic medical education. In 2015, he completed additional training in the specialty “medical practice”.
