Andrés Bastidas joined All Survivors Project as National Health Consultant in 2023. He is a psychologist with 25 years of experience working in Colombia in the field of mental health and psychosocial support in relation to human rights and humanitarian projects. Andrés has extensive experience in supporting the development of policies in relation to victims of armed conflict and in peace building. He has research experience with participatory and qualitative methodologies.
Andrés has a BA in psychology, an MA in Social and Education Development and a PhD in public health. He also teaches psychology and education for undergraduate and graduate programmes in the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana. Andrés lives in Bogotá with his son.
