Improving Health Interventions for Male Survivors of Sexual Violence in Afghanistan

All Survivors Project · Improving Health Interventions for Male Survivors of Sexual Violence in Afghanistan

On this World Health Day, All Survivors Project (ASP) presents a podcast on its recent research on improving health interventions for male survivors in Afghanistan. The research titled, ‘Enhancing Survivor-Centred Healthcare Response for Male Victims/Survivors of Sexual Violence in Afghanistan’ was conducted by ASP and Youth Health and Development Organization (YHDO) was published in March 2021.

The research demonstrates that the health sector is currently a vastly underused entry point for male victims/survivors of sexual violence in Afghanistan, due to multiple and cumulative barriers preventing them from accessing healthcare services.
